Fixture & Tooling Design in Texas
Fixtures and tooling that make every part go together the same way, every time. I design assembly fixtures, welding fixtures and quick-change tooling that cut changeover time, free up floor space and keep quality consistent on the production floor.

What I design
Every fixture starts with the part, the process and the operator who will use it. When it makes sense for you, I reuse what you already have instead of starting from scratch.
- Assembly fixtures
- Welding fixtures
- Quick-change tooling
- Multi-model fixtures that handle more than one product
- Station consolidation: combining operations into fewer stations
- Upgrades to existing fixtures, reusing what still works
If the fixture is part of a bigger line change, see Process Improvement & Plant Layout.
Simple. Predictable. Engineered right.
How a fixture project runs
Define
The part, the process, cycle time and what isn’t working today: changeover, rework or floor space.
Concept
Locating, clamping and layout, reviewed with you and your operators before detailed design.
Detail design
A full 3D model in Autodesk Inventor, checked for fit, operator access and part loading.
Fabrication package
Drawings and a bill of materials ready for your fabricator, plus a PE stamp when your project requires it.
Recent fixture projects
Multi-Model Fixture
One fixture now handles three product models that each needed their own dedicated stations. Changeover time is close to zero.
Production Fixture
Fixturing built for production runs, raising throughput and keeping quality consistent from part to part.
AGV Cart Upgrade
Every original component on the cart was kept and reused. New fixturing was added on top, giving the client a new capability without starting over.

Frequently asked questions
Do you build the fixtures too?
Design is my core service. If you want them built, fabrication is available through Cross Road Solutions, an affiliated fabrication shop, or any fabricator you choose can build from my drawings.
Can one fixture handle more than one product?
Often, yes. One recent fixture handles three product models that each used to need their own dedicated stations, with changeover close to zero. When a fixture isn’t enough, see Custom Machine Design.
Can you upgrade fixtures we already have?
Yes. Whenever you want to, I reuse what still works. On one AGV cart, every original component stayed in service and new fixturing was added to it.
Who owns the design?
Ownership of the drawings and models is set in writing in the proposal, before any work starts.
Do you need to visit our plant?
Usually once, to see the process and the parts. I work on-site across Northeast Texas and Dallas–Fort Worth.
What do you need from me to get started?
Parts or part drawings, photos of the current process, production volumes and what isn’t working today. Send it through the form and I’ll reply within one business day.
Have a fixture problem? Let's engineer it.
